Yasmeen, Yas for short, has a passion for doing hair because of all the interesting people she meets and learns from along the way. While she specializes in vivid colors, balayage and highlights, she understands that every client is different and has various needs and expectations.

After realizing a typical college major wasn't for her, she attended the Aveda Institute and graduated in February 2020 before beginning her career with Cutting Edge Hair in August 2021.

Yas was born and raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Dallas in 2015. She loves spending time with her fiancé of six years as well as her dachshund mix puppy, Mylo. Outside of the salon, she enjoys roller skating, reading and finding new places to eat.
